Laughter has been proven to change levels of neural chemistry, stimulate the thymus gland, boost the immune system, improve digestion and provide a respiratory work-out. Laughing is as important to our well being as exercise and five servings of vegetables a day.
Kim believes that good health is no laughing matter, but laughing is a matter for good health.
She doesn’t consider herself a humor writer, but a health care professional. She feels it’s her duty to mankind to provoke laughter. If her writing provokes other physical reactions, she would rather not know about that.
Her humor essays have appeared in American Bungalow, Dog & Kennel and numerous regional parenting magazines. She’s also the author of two humor middle grade novels that are currently TBD (to-be-discovered). Learn more about her children’s writing at www.kimzachman.com.
